The Studio Door, an interdisciplinary visual arts gallery dedicated to the creative marketplace, opened in 2014. The gallery is nationally known for its annual exhibitions, the Crow Show and PROUD+, as well as its continuous support of local artists. The Studio Door operates in the heart of the Hillcrest neighborhood near “Mural Alley.” The 4,300 square foot storefront contains a large art gallery surrounded by 16 working artist studios.

Patric Stillman, founder of the Studio Door, is a visual artist using art to create connections for the LGBTQIA+ community through humanizing history and uncovering the complexities of identity. His artistic achievements include having exhibited at the Musée du Louvre, SCOPE Miami Beach, Visual AIDS NYC, ArtShare LA and San Diego History Center. His work has appeared in the pages of Boston Pride Guides, RFD Magazine, and Chelsea Station Magazine.

There is metered parking on 4th Ave in front of the gallery and a small paid parking lot about 100 feet south (down) on 4th Ave just past the gallery.
